[2] recognizing common body/brain responses to very stressful events -- while normally people think of trauma as big one-time disaster accidents, it can also be a product of many slow and subtle events too. "flight/flight" is a mythical duality, freezing is more common, there's also sometimes being compliant with a situation to make due, or freezing/dissociating, and often as last resort and least common is fighting.
The lecture (which you can watch at 1.5-1.75 speed okay) focuses on in-the-moment, but I'm realizing in myself and others that the behaviors can also sort of exist for longer periods of time if you/others don't notice/help redirect them.

[3] Guide/workbook for sexual trauma survivors that's useful for navigating through a lot of general stress and post-traumatic experience regardless of how long ago or recent the experience might have been.
Skim through it to get a sense of what's most relevant for you and choose to do things at your own pace, one at a time.
For those that this guide was intended for [even though it's United Kingdom focused, everything except for specific healthcare/legal system is still valid and useful], treat this more like a manual for how-to-prepare for a marathon. The exercises for working through intrusive thought patterns and nightmares are a really good start.
