Persuasive Resolutions

The most important thing for resolutions
to manifest is committed self-persuasion.

What if posing our resolutions as questions served us better? Better than at least,
the strain, tension, and repercussions
a binary imperative often creates in our lives.

Guidance:                                   Resolution:

How can I be
fully present w/
self, environs, & people?  --->   Be present.

What does being rpesent need to look like now for the situation & myself
to improve?

The most likely source of distress created by resolutions (the NYE type)
probably comes from the psychological barriers that accompany shame and guilt.
Couple it with one's inexperience or inadequate capacity to rebound from a
shortcoming, and it makes sense that so many people "fail" at what they
resolve to do--especially as they tend
to do it on their own rather than with
the support an intentional & caring community can provide.
