Edit 10 July 2013: I'm pleased, I wrote the above a while back when wondering what were the things I really wanted to see in a prospective employment role. I think I assumed personal sustenance (financial and time needs being a met requisite) as part of "exposure for personal/professional growth". Today, I came across this:
