Fire teachings; anger and rage

"Fire is a lot like electricity. Electricity is a dangerous thing. You can get a severe shock and it can kill people. But it can also be put to wonderful uses. And fire when used in a sophisticated manner is very much the same way."
...
"If you're afraid of fire, you won't understand fire."
...
"So fire suppression is very much tied up with the social and political oppression of Native American people."
There's an important teaching here that parallels how we as individuals, communities, and societies are to learn: work with embracing anger to heal what fed rage at the root as well.
