That said, it's certainly been an interesting experience working with someone whose immediate focus comes from very personal contexts in coaching, and writing from an international personal development point of view. I also think it's neat that our portrait photos are a kind of counterpoint/complement to one another: Bere's is black and white/grayscale, mine's in color. We're both looking more or less to the right.
Today my biggest learning point comes from trying to reconcile a traditional "focus on making and selling" approach to doing an event with the "bring everyone to the table and build together" orientation I've focused on as of the past 5-7 years. Bere has a very good tendency for keeping immediate focus on "first things first", and while I'm mindful of the same, we balance each other out pretty well.
