Graduation Celebration at the Birmingham Lido Gallery of Art with the Lebanese American Chamber of Commerce (their first celebratory educational event)

I shared a celebratory evening honoring new high school and college graduates/post-graduates organized by the Lebanese American Chamber of Commerce. I recently completed a composition titled "Courage in Complexity". Coincidentally, I later found a passage from the Lebanese American poet Khalil Gibran's book "The Prophet" on reason and passion, I opened the prelude for the evening with remarks encouraging all attendees to seek out and reinforce their passions through all that they learn. Inspired by the passage, I performed a two piece set for the event prelude utilizing Courage in Complexity and the prelude from Bach's first cello suite on the viola.
