Zombies, a Parade, and memories at the UM UGLI

One year ago around today, I met George*, the five days released from federal prison Southwest Detroiter whom spoke to me at length about children being the future as he intoxicated many people within 9 feet of him with his aura of alcohol.  I vividly recall the surrealness of walking through a crowd of zombies as I tried to make small talk with George just before we thought we'd get spinach pies from the cafe.  This library facilitates such interesting memories!

How delightful!
Tracking the Man-Beasts is probably going into my bathroom reader list of academic articles—I never had one before, but something tells me this is a good time to start.
Foreign Policy is such a fine publication!  First Jay-Z vs. The Game, now this article championing zombie supremacy over other supernatural phenomenae in parallel with policy wonks.

Chronicle of Higher Education too!
